Allison Lupton hails from the heart of rural Ontario where her passion for music was founded while singing in church choirs and learning jigs and reels at ‘sessions’. From playing for community dances to soloing with orchestras, Allison has truly found her voice as a singer, flautist and songwriter after more than a quarter century performing throughout Canada and Europe. She is highly regarded across the globe and has enjoyed many traditional music nominations, including Folk Music Award Traditional Singer of the Year.

Allison is joined by a stellar group of musicians including legendary Celtic guitar maestro Tony McManus (internationally renowned Celtic guitarist) Shane Cook (Canadian and US National Fiddle Champion), Andrew Collins (multiple Juno nominated mandolinist) bass virtuoso Joe Phillips.

Each musician brings their own influences to the ensemble, creating a beautiful fusion of Celtic, bluegrass, roots and more. Tonight, we enjoy a glorious mix of dazzling contemporary and traditional instrumentals and original songs which fit perfectly into the cannon of Canadian folk music that they could easily be mistaken for traditional anthems.

Together this all-star band transports us to another time and place. Then it dances us home again! An evening of sheer class and musical beauty. Don’t miss them!
