The vestry CAFE
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls ... please say hello to our buddies Nicola and Adam Rogers who are your hosts at Vestry Cafe.
If you’re looking for an idyllic location, a rich, powerful coffee (or a deluxe hot choc) and a comprehensive menu of affordable, scrummy homemade food you’ve found the perfect place.
Vestry Café opened its doors in March 2016 and has quickly established a keen and loyal following of diners and drinkers who are passionate about Nicola’s super-tasty nosh. Rachel’s cakes are back – her legendary macaroons, opulent chocolate brownies, flapjacks and always a cutting-cake or two made with the very finest of ingredients and perfectly baked each morning. Vestry Cafe serves truly yummy, sensibly-priced food for meat-eaters and veggies alike.
If savoury options are your thing there’s bacon, sausage and potato hash (topped with a poached egg) for hungry tums, flatbreads with a variety of veggie and non-veggie toppings and a range of breakfast options and filled or toasted sandwiches.
For the warmer months we’re offering opulent homemade quiche accompanied by flavour-packed salads or summer garden soups and chowders. And for hungrier tums there’s always the loaded flatbreads, halloumi fries or a decadently indulgent croque-monsieur. Look out for the specials boards and summertime tasties – cream teas, ice cream sundaes and Nicola’s imaginative sweet sandwich of strawberry, banana and clotted cream (she promises they’re mouthwateringly delish!).
We have a safe, private garden in which to relax and fill your boots from breakfast to tea-time but if the weather’s a bit iffy there’s a warm welcome inside with captivating exhibitions throughout the chapel and a selection of toys and books to keep little people occupied and happy.
We look forward to seeing you! If you have a large party coming along why not book a table in advance by calling Vestry Café on 01453 861177
