Hand Embroidered Floral Monograms

Come and spend a day creating your own personal embroidered monogram with the most marvellous Marion Bedford.
During today’s workshop you will be creating your design using a combination of stencils and free-hand drawing to sketch out your monogram. You will then use a variety of stitches to fill the letters and then it’s time for embellishing, using stem stitch, back stitch and whipped back stitch.
Monograms are perfect for personalising towels, tablecloths, napkins, cushions and even canvas shoes.
All participants will get to choose their own colour palette. If you have a specific item you would like to monogram, please bring it on the day. Marion looks forward to welcoming stitchers of all ability to her lovely summer workshop.
