If you've ever felt intimidated to paint but have always wanted to give it a go, then this workshop is the perfect place to start (and from the comfort of your own home). Join artist Hannah Ferreira-Allen to learn the simple techniques of mark-making with paint. With plenty of inspirational examples of works of some contemporary artists, by the end of the session you will have created your own colourful work of art.

This 5 week course is perfect if you have done some previous linocutting and would like to increase your knowledge of techniques.  Each week will build on the next and at the end of the 5 weeks, you’ll have a good understanding of how to create multi block prints and how to incorporate other techniques into your work.

Join illustrator Hannah Dyson to explore mark making and collage in drawing for this evenings workshop taking place via Zoom. For this workshop you’ll start with an image/ or sketch that you would like to develop further, or experiment with. From here you’ll create a palette of textures that might reflect the nature of your image or be purely random enjoyable mark making. Then the magic begins as you deconstruct the original drawings into its component parts and collage them together using these textures.
