Wild Life presents the story of an ordinary woman's journey to an extraordinary dimension. From behind the walls of her flat, something is emerging. A feeling. A sound. Definitely, something’s there – maybe a plant or a creature? Compelled to investigate, she is drawn into a surreal world of transformations to discover what or who lies beneath. Contains dark imagery and so only suitable for hardy youngsters over the age of nine.

Moving Pictures - The Prema BIG Draw

Prema resident artists Eve Coy and Hannah Dyson join forces with Aardman animation wizard Will Becher for a free family afternoon of bringing drawings to life. The Big Draw is a national project which invites families, friends and generations to work together to enjoy drawing, taking part and putting pen to paper, regardless how awesome (or not) you might be at mark-making. Throughout the afternoon you’ll be making zoetropes, thaumatropes, flip books and exploring a host of drawing ideas which lend themselves perfectly to the moving image.

Dazzlingly exuberant resident textiles artist Emma Leith began café crochet earlier this year and has already helped to build an industrious and fun-loving community of wool-mad crafters through her fabulous crochet sessions. Hot drinks, cakes and delicious savoury dishes are available to purchase from the Vestry Café, so you can enjoy a tasty treat whilst talking all things crochet and hooking away! Emma’s on hand if you get your threads in a twist or if you’re lacking inspiration and need a new project to get stuck in to. These monthly sessions are perfect for anyone who has already mastered the chain and treble stitch.
