Molly Lemon is a printmaker who works from her home studio in Wotton under Edge. In 2015 she graduated from Winchester School of Art with a degree in fine art. Specialising in the traditional printmaking technique of wood engraving her work is driven by a fascination with British wildlife and natural forms in the landscape.
Having grown up on the edge of Dartmoor, this need to recreate nature in her artwork has always been present. Concerned with conservation and global warming Molly aims for her prints to reflect both the sheer beauty and increasing vulnerability of the plants and animals with whom we share this planet.
Her work is absolutely full of detail and joy. When looking closely at her work, you'll be transported into an opulent, miniature world of beauty and exquisite detail. We're thrilled that Molly will be showing in Vestry Cafe this spring.
