Christine Dack

Free entry

From her Gloucestershire base, painter Christine Dack has become a prolific explorer, regularly dotting about the country to conquer hills and mountains, always drawing and painting and finding flashes of inspiration for her next painting. In recent years the Severn Valley and the woodlands of North Wales have brought about an impressive body of work; paintings in various scales and a family of sketchbooks in which the artist explores colour and texture.

Chris’ studio practice is ever evolving and her recent exploration is to develop a more enigmatic and abstract language within her work, giving a sense of movement through a changing vista to create a sense of mystery.

Chris' exhibition is open Wednesday to Saturday from 9am until 5pm although the space is sometimes used for classes and workshops and so calling ahead to check availabilty is advised.
