A dark and spooky show for mid-winter, Ghost Stories takes five haunting tales from across England and brings them to life through live music and illustrated puppetry.

From an intrepid Devon girl who outwits a witch to how the Cornish fought off the devil, Ghost Stories celebrates the age-old tradition of story-telling with a unique twist. Exquisite pen and ink drawings are magically brought to life by a pair of puppeteers and a projector to create a unique, animated film.

They are joined by a talented trio of multi-instrumentalists - led by Chris Reed alongside Alex Vann (Spiro & Three Cane Whale) and Francesca Simmons (Giffords Circus) - who perform the atmospheric soundtrack live on stage.

Founded by Nic Rawling and Chris Reed, The Paper Cinema have carved out a unique name for themselves with their own take on epic tales such as Odyssey that have garnered rave reviews.

Suitable for young people aged nine and over.
