At Prema we strive to offer something rather different by way of performance and live music. We have a particular interest in edgy, funny theatre which uses both physicality and stunning visuals to tell a story in a remarkable and entertaining way.

We warmly welcome families to attend both music and theatre here at the arts centre. We suggest minimum ages for shows and sometimes offer a family deal ticket for theatre events to make a memorable evening out all the more affordable.

A family ticket is for 2 adults and 2 kids (or equivalent)

You told us that you'd prefer it if our performance and live gigs were just a bit earlier and so now all evening performances start at 7.30pm.

We want to reward you for booking early and the tickets booked and paid for in advance are discounted. Please note that at a minute past midnight on the day of the show only "on the day" tickets are available. Please be sure to book in good time so that you can take advantage of the discounted ticket prices.

Su Hart presents Harmonium and Polyphonie

£12/£9(c) • Friends £10/£7(c) • On the day £15

Su Hart is a Bath-based singer and choir leader and perhaps best known as lead singer in the wonderful Baka Beyond, the internationally touring world music band. She began composing for women’s voices in 2016, drawing on knowledge from musical experiences with indigenous musicians and the inspiration of our natural world. This wordless spiralling of women's voices, embraces many interlocking vocals forms, from the hauntingly beautiful Baka Pygmy women's rainforest singing (which Su learned over many trips to Cameroon) Meredith Monk’s choral pieces (under whom she studied in 2017) to the Indian classical sing form Dhrupad ( studied in Bhopal this winter).
