Prema is a family friendly Arts Centre, promoting performance, live music and art exhibitions as well as accessible workshops, classes and creative experiences for kids and adults.
Prema, near Dursley in the Stroud valleys, offers an affordable day out for all folk in the South West.
At Prema we strive to offer something rather different by way of performance and live music. We have a particular interest in edgy, funny theatre which uses both physicality and stunning visuals to tell a story in a remarkable and engaging way.
We warmly welcome families to attend both music and theatre here at the arts centre. We suggest minimum ages for shows and sometimes offer a family deal ticket for theatre events to make a memorable evening out all the more affordable.
A family ticket is for 2 adults and 2 kids (or equivalent)
You told us that you'd prefer it if our performance and live gigs were just a bit earlier and so now all evening performances start at 7.30pm.

Eddy Smith & the 507
£17/£14(c) • Friends £15/£12(c)
Join us for a massive night with a BIG sound, courtesy of Eddy Smith with his unique, husky voice and awesome piano accompaniment – in recent years he’s really been really making his mark on the UK’s growing Americana scene. Widely recognised as one of the prominent male vocalists on the country soul & blues circuit, Eddy’s infectious melodies and soulful song-writing has drawn comparisons to the likes of Joe Cocker, JJ Grey and Marcus King.
Backed by his long-time friends, they form the multinational five-piece, Eddy Smith & The 507. Their music, engulfed by rich vocal harmonies and gospel-like organ is reminiscent of a sound from way before their time. With an irresistible blend of various Americana styles, such as blues, soul, country and rock, the quintet are sure to take Prema by storm for this awesome autumn gig.
Be sure to book your tickets in plenty of time!
