Special Events

Special Events are one-off activities which won't necessarily be repeated (or which don't fit one of the main categories on our website).

You'll have spotted that we have a range of paritcipatory sessions with the title "OFF WE GO" and we felt we should explain a bit about these. Off We Go is a NHS-funded project, delivered by a partnership of Cam & Dursley Creatives, The GL11 Community Hub, Kingshill House, Prema and Under the Edge Arts in Wotton.

The sessions are open to people living in the GL11, GL12 and GL13 postcode areas who lives have been impacted by Covid and the pandemic. Perhaps you're still living with Long Covid or struggling to recapture your sense of confidence and/or ability to interact with others following the anxiety and uncertainty of the past few years.

We know that the pandemic continues to have a marked impact for so many young people (including those who are due to start school later this year) and so we have devised great participatory sessions for young people too.

The sessions are offered at just £2 per person and this price includes all materials. We anticipate that the events will fill very quickly and we've structured the courses so that they're quieter in the hope that you'll feel right at home with little to no pressure on you.
