Our monthly sketching sessions are about experiment and exploration, making a mark and bringing along a can-do approach to drawing. You’ll love it - book now to avoid disappointment.

For July, we’re heading down to the comparative lowlands at Slimbridge. The village of Slimbridge meanders its way down towards the Severn estuary, crossing the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal on the way. This morning, we’ll be dismounting our horses at the bridge and wandering along the towpath, using the long stretches of waterway to help us explore perspective drawing as well as featuring the barges and boats we meet along the way. If July proffers disastrous weather, the welcoming souls at the Black Shed Cafe will kindly house us until the sunshine returns.

As always, the ever-brilliant Rosie-Marie Marshall-Jane leads our morning’s session, allowing you to work at your own pace with generous support and gentle encouragement. Sketch Out is all about making your mark in the great outdoors, surrounded by visual inspiration and a posse of eager sketchers and strollers for company.
